Former BJP District President Abhay Singh visited Kalyan Nagar and surrounding areas on Saturday, reassuring residents that their homes will not be demolished.

JAMSHEDPUR – Former BJP District President Abhay Singh visited Kalyan Nagar and surrounding areas on Saturday, reassuring residents that their homes will not be demolished.

Abhay Singh reassured over 150 households in Kalyan Nagar and nearby settlements that their homes will remain intact despite notices issued by the Block Development Officer.

He explained that these areas have been excluded from the Tata Lease Area.

Visit and Assurance

During his visit, Singh assured residents of Chandni Nagar, Chhaya Nagar, Nirmal Nagar, Babudih, Lal Bhatta, Kanu Bhatta, Shanti Nagar, Bhuiyan Basti, Kalyan Nagar, and Gwala Basti Bhuiyandih that their homes are safe.

He emphasized that these settlements are home to hardworking labor families who have built their houses with their life savings.

Criticism of State Government

Singh criticized the state’s Chief Minister Hemant Soren, stating, "Hemant Soren does not want the poor to live a decent life."

He highlighted that residents with voter IDs, Aadhar cards, and pension benefits will not face eviction.

Future Actions

Singh mentioned that if necessary, he would bring the party’s state president Babulal Marandi and Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato to these settlements to support the residents.

He plans to organize meetings with local people to address their concerns.
