In a significant display of opposition unity, the ‘Ulgulan Nyaya Maharally’ is set to take place on April 21 in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. This large-scale event is organized by the INDIA bloc, a coalition of opposition parties in India, and is aimed at protesting against the policies of the Central Government and the recent arrest of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
RANCHI – The INDIA bloc, which stands as a collective front of several opposition parties, has meticulously planned the upcoming ‘Ulgulan Nyaya Maharally’. A total of 60 members have been mobilized to manage the event through three specialized committees.
The committees, as announced by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), include an organizing committee, a welcome committee, and a media committee. Both the organizing and welcome committees comprise 26 members each, underscoring the scale of the event, while the media committee includes eight members, tasked with handling all press-related activities.
The rally is not just a local event but a national statement with prominent leaders from across the country expected to attend. Among the attendees are major figures such as Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, MK Stalin, Uddhav Thackeray, and Tejashwi Yadav.
Leading the charge is Kalpana Soren, wife of Hemant Soren, who is actively involved in the rally’s leadership, signaling the personal stakes and high profile of this political gathering. This rally represents a critical platform for the opposition to voice their dissent against the current government’s actions and policies.
