Fire Engulfs Three Warehouses at Lal Baba Foundry in Jamshedpur
Firefighters struggle to control the blaze as goods worth lakhs remain at risk
Chaos ensued on Friday night when a fire broke out in three warehouses at Lal Baba Foundry under Burmamines police station in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – The incident occurred at around 7:30 PM, and the affected warehouses are said to belong to Brajesh Jaiswal, Kali Sharma, and Tullu Sharma.
The presence of a large amount of rubber in the warehouses caused the fire to spread rapidly, engulfing the premises.
Two fire engines from the fire department quickly reached the spot and have been tirelessly working to control the blaze.
However, at the time of reporting, the fire had not yet been brought under control.
The area is home to many large warehouses storing goods worth lakhs of rupees, making the situation even more critical.
Despite the high value of the stored materials, the warehouse owners reportedly do not have any independent fire extinguishing systems in place.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, police personnel from Burmamines police station also rushed to the scene.
The police team is currently engaged in gathering information about the possible cause of the fire.
The incident has raised concerns about the lack of fire safety measures in the industrial area, putting lives and property at risk.
The extent of the damage caused by the fire is yet to be assessed, but it is expected to be substantial given the scale of the blaze and the nature of the goods stored in the warehouses.
