Community and Firefighters Team Up to Quench Fire on Jawahar Nagar Road

A community response complemented by the fire brigade successfully managed a potentially dangerous fire near an acid pond in Jamshedpur’s Azad Nagar area.

JAMSHEDPUR – A fire erupted in the bushes near the acid pond on Jawahar Nagar Road No. 12, within the Azad Nagar police station jurisdiction, causing alarm among the local residents.

The community quickly organized, with women and youth using buckets and hoses to douse the flames, reducing its intensity significantly.

Their prompt action helped control the fire before the arrival of the fire brigade.

Once on the scene, the Jharkhand government’s fire brigade team succeeded in completely extinguishing the fire.

This incident highlighted the importance of community awareness and swift action in preventing potential disasters.
