JAMSHEDPUR – The Communist Party of India celebrated its 100th founding anniversary with flag hoisting at party headquarters Friday.

Senior leaders, workers and supporters attended the ceremony. Representatives from various people’s organizations participated in large numbers. The atmosphere remained joyful and dignified throughout proceedings.

The program began with CPI’s red flag hoisting. “Inquilab Zindabad” slogans echoed across the premises immediately. “Bhartiya Communist Party Zindabad” chants filled the air subsequently.

Participants paid homage to martyrs after flag raising. They remembered freedom fighters who sacrificed lives. Workers, farmers and marginalized communities received special tributes too.

Ambuj Thakur addressed the gathering at this occasion. He highlighted CPI’s glorious 100-year history for nation. The party fought continuously for workers’ and farmers’ rights.

CPI participated actively in India’s independence struggle. It championed social justice and secularism throughout decades. Moreover, democracy and equality remained core party principles always.
