Holi Weather Alert for Some Parts of Jharkhand
Thunderstorms Expected During Holi Celebrations in North-Eastern Districts
A sudden weather shift anticipates thunderstorms in Jharkhand this Holi, as per Ranchi Airport’s weather center. However, Jamshedpur Weather is likely to remain Dry.
JAMSHEDPUR – The weather in Jharkhand is poised for a dramatic change during the Holi festivities. Jamshedpur, however, will remain unimpacted.
Lord Indra seems to join the celebrations with a forecast of thunderstorms across several districts on March 25, 2024.
The weather center located at Ranchi Airport released this information on March 23.
A gradual increase in the maximum temperature by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius is expected over the next 2 to 3 days.
Following this spike, no significant weather changes are forecasted for the subsequent three days.
The state will witness a partly cloudy sky on March 24, maintaining dry conditions.
Rain is anticipated in north-eastern parts of the state, including Deoghar, Dumka, Godda,
Jamtara, Pakur, and Sahibganj districts on March 25.
From March 26 to 29, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy with dry weather persisting.
An alert for possible thunder and lightning on March 25 has been issued for the same districts expecting rain.
In addition to the thunderstorms, sunny weather was observed in Jamshedpur on Saturday, with similar conditions predicted for the whole of Jharkhand including Kolhan on Sunday.
Dr. Abhishek Anand, a meteorologist at the Ranchi Center, confirmed the sunny forecast.
The country is set to celebrate the festival of Holi on March 25, with possible drizzles in some states.
A yellow alert for lightning has also been issued.
While other districts might experience partly cloudy skies, the north-eastern regions are bracing for potential drizzles.
Afterwards, the weather is expected to clear up and remain dry.
