JAMSHEDPUR – District Administration and police outline comprehensive security for the Ram Navami immersion procession in Jamshedpur, ensuring a peaceful celebration.

The collaboration between various officials including Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, City SP Mukesh Lunayat, and others highlights the joint effort to secure the event.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kaushal mandated rigorous surveillance and enforcement measures, including monitoring through CCTV and drones to ensure the procession’s safety.

Stringent rules for DJ operators, adherence to the Model Code of Conduct, and detailed security plans including the use of watch towers and emergency services were discussed.

The administration has committed to providing essential services such as ambulances and fire brigades, and to keeping the river ghats clean for the procession.

To prevent any disruptions, plans for alternative lighting and extensive logistical arrangements have been made, including the deployment of volunteers with identification cards.

Discussions at the Collectorate Auditorium stressed the need for a meticulously planned, peaceful procession, with a focus on maintaining law and order.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal highlighted the importance of all police station in-charges verifying the procession route to ensure its seamless conduct.

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal called for heightened vigilance and the readiness of officers to make swift decisions in any situation that may arise.

A comprehensive review meeting chaired by the District Magistrate and the Senior Superintendent of Police focused on preparing for the Ram Navami immersion procession, emphasizing public safety and order.
