Short Circuit Suspected as Cause, Fire Brigade Brings Blaze Under Control

A private cashew packaging factory located at Airport Mayur Bihar Colony under Barwadda police station area in Dhanbad caught fire, resulting in an estimated loss of Rs 2 crore, with a short circuit suspected to be the cause of the blaze.

DHANBAD – A fire broke out in a private cashew packaging factory in Dhanbad’s Airport Mayur Bihar Colony under Barwadda police station area, causing an estimated loss of Rs 2 crore, with a short circuit suspected to be the cause of the blaze, which was eventually brought under control by the fire brigade.

He told that there were about two crore cashews kept in the factory for packaging, all of them were destroyed in this fire, due to which they suffered a lot of loss.

The factory owner has also expressed apprehension that the fire might have occurred due to short circuit.

After which they reached the spot. Local people informed him over the phone about the fire.

Factory owner Vikas Vashisht said that after closing the factory in the evening, he had gone to his home.

But they have no information about how this fire started.

The fire brigade personnel who reached the spot said that they reached the spot on receiving information about the fire and the fire was soon brought under control.

Expressing apprehension regarding this incident, Barwadda Market Committee member Vikas Kandhave said that the fire might have started due to short circuit in the cashew packaging factory.

After receiving information about the fire, the factory owner also reached the spot, after which the factory gate was opened and the fire was extinguished.

This factory belongs to a person named Vijay Vashisht. Neighbors noticed the fire, after which the fire brigade was informed.

The factory was closed at the time of the fire incident.

Two fire engines reached the spot and with great effort brought the fire under control in time.

Neighbors informed about the fire in the cashew packaging company by calling the fire department in time.
