Amazon Prime Video India creates great confusion with abusive promotion of series

Bengaluru: Amazon Prime has lit the Twitter space with a tweet with an abusive line referencing its hit series Mirzapur.

The tweet that was intended to promote the upcoming season of Mirzapur has left many confused.

Some Twitterati knowingly turned the discussion towards known personalities and had a gala time at the expense of Amazon Prime.

For the uninitiated, the tweet draws parallel from a dialogue hurled at an uncle dancing at a marriage party during the first season’s final showdown.

The series is expected to release on October 23, 2020. With stars like Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, and Ali Fazal reprising their roles on this Amazon Prime Original, one can only hope that the magic of season one is recreated.

Well known film-maker Vivek Agnihotri too wondered what had gone wrong with Amazon Prime Video that it was indulging in abusive promotion.

Whatever be the case, the twitterati certainly got some free entertainment at the expense of Amazon Prime.
