Rs 12 Lakh Stolen from Tata Steel Employee’s Home during Daughter’s Wedding

A shocking theft at Tata Steel employee’s house in Jamshedpur while the family was away at a wedding. Police investigation underway.

JAMSHEDPUR – A shocking incident unfolded in Jamshedpur Sonari Pardesi Pada’s B block, as a Tata Steel employee reported the theft of Rs 12 lakh from his house.

The theft took place on the night of May 30, while the family was away attending the younger daughter’s wedding at a hotel in Bistupur.

As the entire family was engrossed in the wedding festivities, an unknown assailant took advantage of the situation.

Seizing the opportunity, the culprit broke open the cupboard and made off with the substantial sum.

The incident was a devastating blow to the family, who immediately reported the theft to the Sonari police station upon their return and the discovery of the theft.

The police have registered the case and initiated a thorough investigation into the incident.
