377 new home guards ready for duty after passing final parade

DUKMKA – Newly recruited Jharkhand home guards successfully completed their training at the Home Guard Battalion Training Center in Dumka district.

The passing out parade for the newly recruited Jharkhand home guards took place at the Home Guard Battalion Training Center in Nakti, Dumka district.

Inspector General of Police for Santhal Pargana Range, G Kranti Kumar, attended the event.

The Jharkhand government had initiated the recruitment process for the Home Guard Battalion.

Subsequently, recruits from Palamu, Sahebganj, and Deoghar districts underwent training at this center for over two months.

On this occasion, the final parade was conducted.

Certificates and mementos were presented to the trainees.

A total of 377 personnel from this training center in Dumka are now prepared for duty.

IG Kranti Kumar inspected the parade, with all participants successfully passing.

Home Guard Battalion Commandant Satish Pathak and officers from SIRB and IRB were also present.

The IG encouraged the recruits and emphasized their commitment to serving the country.

He highlighted the crucial role of home guards during elections.

Moreover, Kumar motivated them to work hard and aim for future opportunities in the police force.

On this occasion, all recruits took a pledge.

In conclusion, the IG extended his best wishes to the newly trained home guards.
