No coronavirus death on Monday in Jamshedpur

23 fresh corona cases, 34 cured, positivity rate drops to 3.9%, mortality rate 2.2%, recovery rate 97%

Jamshedpur: No death caused by coronavirus has been reported in Jamshedpur or East Singhbhum district on Monday. This has been the 13th consecutive day of nil coronavirus-caused death in the city or the district. The total death toll for the district remained at 374 till Monday evening.

According to official data, 23 fresh coronavirus cases have been detected in the district on Monday, however. The total number of cases for the districts now inched up to 17,333.

On the other hand, 34 more patients were also cured and discharged taking the total number of recoveries in the district to 16,744.

The active coronavirus infection cases in the district as of now are only 215.

As per official data, the district has tested 4,41,940 samples till date, out of which only 17,333 have tested positive, while 4,24,607 have tested negative.

The recovery rate for the district is still at 97%, while the mortality rate too remains at 2.2%.

The positivity rate has slided down a little and has now come down to 3.9%.
