JAMSHEDPUR – Even before the Lok Sabha election announcement, BJP had named its candidates, highlighting the urgency in the INDIA bloc for seat sharing negotiations between Congress and JMM.
Congress members convened at Bistupur’s Tilak Library to deliberate on Jamshedpur Lok Sabha candidature, reaching out to national and state party leaders for support.
Anand Bihari Dubey, Congress district president, emphasized the party’s strong organizational groundwork in Jamshedpur, from city to village levels, over the past two years.
Meanwhile, JMM has laid claim to both Kolhan seats, with State Chief Minister Champai Soren announcing the party’s intentions to contest vigorously in Jamshedpur.
JMM’s stronghold in four of Jamshedpur’s six assembly constituencies underscores its robust election preparations and ambition to field a strong candidate.
