RJD Discusses Lok Sabha Candidates in Kolhan Division

In a strategic meeting held at the Bodhi Complex, Adityapur, senior RJD officials and workers of Kolhan Division discussed potential candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, focusing on winning both seats in the Singhbhum and Jamshedpur constituencies with a unified effort from the Grand Alliance, amidst challenges including the imprisonment of Grand Alliance chief Hemant Soren.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant development for the political landscape of Jharkhand, a comprehensive meeting of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) officials and workers took place in Adityapur.

The assembly highlighted the collective aim to secure victory in both Lok Sabha constituencies within the Kolhan Division.

Senior leaders from various facets of the party, including State Secretary Dev Prakash and Rajesh Yadav, made their presence felt.

Youth leaders and senior members such as Udit Yadav and Amarinder Singh Minde also contributed their perspectives.

They deliberated on the importance of aligning with the Grand Alliance’s strategies to enhance electoral prospects.

Purendra Narayan Singh, steering the meeting, reiterated the essential role of supporting RJD-backed candidates in civic polls under Lok Sabha constituencies.

He emphasized the pivotal stance of RJD in Jharkhand’s political arena, aiming not just to contest but to win elections.

Acknowledging the challenge to dethrone BJP in the upcoming elections, Singh inspired party workers to adhere to Grand Alliance principles.

A poignant decision was made by RJD workers to abstain from Holi celebrations, respecting the incarceration of Hemant Soren.

This decision reflects the deep sentiment within the party ranks, underlining solidarity amidst adversity.

The meeting concluded with discussions on fielding JMM candidates in strategic constituencies, considering the political dynamics and ground realities.

It was revealed that a future extended meeting would convene to further strategize on electoral tactics, marking a proactive approach towards the forthcoming electoral challenges.
