Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce Election Results Declared

Manav Kedia Becomes President, Harsh Agarwal Wins VP (Industry)

JAMSHEDPUR – Results of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI) 2025-27 polls were announced. Several top posts saw unopposed wins, while some positions were decided through close contests.

President and Vice Presidents

Manav Kedia became President without opposition. Meanwhile, Harsh Agarwal (Bakrewal) captured the Vice President (Industry) seat with 1218 votes. His rival Nitesh Dhoot received 468 votes.

For Vice President (Trade and Commerce), Anil Modi was elected unopposed. Rajiv Agarwal won uncontested for Vice President (Taxation and Finance). In addition, Abhishek Agarwal (Goldy) secured Vice President (Public Relations and Welfare) without a contest.

General Secretary and Secretaries

However, the General Secretary post witnessed a tough fight. Puneet Kauntia triumphed with 1271 votes against Satya Narayan Agarwal who polled 433.

Meanwhile, Bharat Makani took Secretary (Trade and Commerce) with 1136 votes. His challengers, Manoj Chetani and Mohit Shah, managed 102 and 473 respectively. On the other hand, Suresh Sharma (Lippu) gained Secretary (Public Relations and Welfare) with 1344 votes. His opponent, Ramu Debuka, received 362.

Other secretary posts, including Taxation, Finance, and Industry, were filled uncontested by Anshul Ringsala, Binod Sharma, and others.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee had fierce competition. Ashwini Kumar Agarwal topped with 1278 votes. He was followed closely by Vishnu Kumar Goyal with 1277 and Piyush Goyal (CA) with 1275.

In total, more than 40 candidates competed. Many achieved over 1200 votes, including Mohit Moonka (1254), Umesh Kumar Khinwal (1246), and Mahesh Kumar Agarwal (1244).

Voting and Final Results

Moreover, the election process included e-voting from September 10 to 12. Venue voting was held on September 13 at Chamber Bhawan. The final tally was certified by the election officers.

A reliable source commented, “The high turnout and narrow margins reflect strong interest in Chamber affairs.”
