MEDININAGAR – Three motorcycle riders sustained injuries after a speeding tractor collided with their bike near Baghamada village.
The accident occurred on the Chhatarpur-Pandu road. Moreover, the tractor driver fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Meanwhile, villagers rushed the victims to the sub-divisional hospital. Furthermore, two critically injured were referred to MMCH Medininagar.
Accident Details
The victims were returning home to Gurdi village. Additionally, all three were traveling on a single motorcycle.
“We were hit by a speeding tractor coming from the opposite direction,” stated Sonu, one of the injured. Moreover, he identified the tractor owner as Dharmendra “Guddu” Yadav.
Victims’ Condition
Rohit Kumar, 18, and Sonu Kumar suffered serious injuries. Meanwhile, Bimlesh Kumar sustained minor wounds.
On the other hand, doctors provided initial treatment at the sub-divisional hospital. Furthermore, they recommended advanced care for two victims.
Investigation Aspects
The tractor was reportedly heading to the river for illegal sand mining. Moreover, local sources identified the owner’s involvement in unauthorized sand transportation.
Meanwhile, police have launched a search for the absconding driver. Furthermore, they are investigating the illegal sand mining connection.
