JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur FC, under the guidance of head coach Khalid Jamil, showcased their strength in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2033-24 season with a 4-0 triumph over Punjab FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
The victory marked Punjab FC’s first loss since the league’s resumption, interrupting their winning streak initiated by coach Staikos Vergetis.
The match was a testament to Jamshedpur FC’s formidable form, featuring a brace from Jeremy Manzorro, and goals by Daniel Chima Chukwu and RFYC graduate Mohammed Sanan.

Chukwu’s early goal set the tone for Jamshedpur FC, despite Punjab FC’s attempt to counter, which included a missed penalty by Wilmar Jordan Gil, expertly saved by TP Rehenesh.
The second half saw Jamshedpur FC escalating their lead, with Manzorro and Sanan extending the gap.
Manzorro’s exceptional free-kick skills were highlighted with two goals in the final 10 minutes, sealing the victory for the Red Miners.
