Utkal Association function mirrors Bhubaneswar’s International Odiya Conference, spotlighting literary and cultural discussions.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Utkal Association’s decision to organize the International Odia Conference in Bistupur even while the 3-day Odiya Conference is going on in Bhubaneswar.

The conference was graced with the singing of the State Anthem, ‘Vande Utkal Janani’, marking its commencement.

An array of speakers, including Vice President Badal Bhuiyan, General Secretary Tarun Mohanty, Assistant Secretary Bibhuti Mohanty, and Treasurer Manish Das, enriched the event with their insights.

The conference attracted a diverse group of participants, including poets, authors, literary critics, intellectuals, and research scholars, highlighting the rich tapestry of Odia culture.

The Utkal Association took charge of the conference’s organization, ensuring a platform for the celebration and discussion of Odiya heritage.

Despite initial plans, the office bearers’ absence in Bhubaneswar highlighted the logistical challenges faced in organizing such a significant event.

The gathering served as a testament to the enduring vibrancy of Odia literature and culture, fostering a sense of community among its participants.
