Permanent Drinking Water Facility to Benefit Devotees Visiting Jagannath Temple
The Steel City branch of Marwari Yuva Manch has inaugurated its 43rd and sixth permanent Amritdhara (drinking water facility) for the 24-25 session at the Utkal Association in Garmanala, Sakchi, on June 15 at 8 pm.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a bid to provide relief to devotees visiting the grand Jagannath Temple at the Utkal Association premises in Garmanala, Sakchi, the Steel City branch of Marwari Yuva Manch has inaugurated its 43rd and sixth permanent Amritdhara.
The Utkal Association members informed that the temple attracts numerous devotees daily who come to offer prayers and seek blessings from Mahaprabhu Jagannath.
With the upcoming Rath Yatra on July 7, thousands of devotees are expected to throng the temple to witness the grand event and partake in the Mahaprasad.
The newly established Amritdhara, which provides cool drinking water, will prove to be a boon for the devotees, especially during the scorching summer heat.
The Amritdhara was set up with the assistance provided by the late Munna Babu Gupta Trust, courtesy of Naveen Seth.
The inauguration ceremony was conducted under the chairmanship of branch president Praveen Agarwal, in the presence of secretary Alok Agarwal, convener Navneet Bansal, Anuj Gupta, Shankar Singhal, Lippu Sharma, and members of the Utkal Association Committee.
The initiative by the Marwari Yuva Manch to establish a permanent drinking water facility at the Utkal Association premises demonstrates their commitment to serving the community and ensuring the well-being of devotees visiting the Jagannath Temple.
