Kerala Catholic Association Celebrates St. Thomas Day In Jamshedpur
Over 130 Families Gather At St. Joseph Church For Mass And Cultural Program
Event features performances by children and quiz competition on St. Thomas.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) celebrated St. Thomas Day with a special mass and cultural program at St. Joseph Church in Golmuri.
"This event brings together our community of over 130 families," stated A.L. Abraham, KCA President.
Nine priests, including Father John Ottaplackal and Father Alwin, led the mass.
The cultural program featured performances by children of KCA members.
"Our children presented songs and dances, while ladies performed a traditional Kerala marriage dance," Abraham noted.
A quiz competition based on St. Thomas was organized as part of the celebrations.
The event included the song ‘Christ is King’ and commenced with a prayer and welcome speech.
Association Secretary Preethi Jiju delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the program.
This celebration highlights the vibrant Kerala Catholic community in Jamshedpur.
The KCA, formed in 1960, continues to maintain cultural and religious traditions for its members.
