ASISC Zonal Quiz Competition Held At Kerala Public School Gamharia
24 Schools Participate In Two-Day Event Across Three Age Categories
Loyola School Jamshedpur Wins Senior Division, KPS Gamharia Tops Sub-Junior Group
JAMSHEDPUR – Kerala Public School (KPS) Gamharia recently organized the ASISC Zonal Quiz Competition, where 24 schools participated in different categories including sub-junior, junior, and senior.
"During the inauguration," said Father E. A. Francis S.J., Principal of Xavier School, "this event helps children grow and develop their talents."
Lakshmi Sharad Chandran, the Academic Director of KPS Gamharia, and Principal Rashmi Sinha jointly inaugurated the event.
Vinod Menon was the anchor for the two-day competition, where many students participated with great enthusiasm.
"You know, folks, Father Francis really drove home the point that if you want to succeed academically, you’ve got to put in that continuous effort," emphasized to all the participants.
In the senior category, Loyola School Jamshedpur emerged as the winner with a commendable score of 91 points. They were closely followed by RVS Academy and Sacred Heart Convent School.
The DBMS team won first place in the junior category, followed by KPS Kadma in second place and KSMS Jamshedpur in third place.
KPS Gamharia emerged as the winners in the sub-junior category, with Loyola School and Hill Top School securing second and third place respectively.
Shantanu Chakraborty, a retired officer from Tata Steel, had the honor of attending the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
The event ended with a ceremony where awards were presented and students performed a cultural program.
