XLRI Auditorium Hosts DAV Public School’s Exuberant Annual Day

DAV Public School’s Annual Day at XLRI Auditorium showcased cultural richness, achievements, and a commitment to value education and environmental conservation.

JAMSHEDPUR – DAV Public School in Bistupur marked a significant milestone in its academic journey by celebrating its Annual Day at XLRI Auditorium on January 24.

This year’s celebration was dedicated to environmental awareness and value education.

An impactful skit on the life of Swami Dayanand Saraswati and a performance themed “Heal the World” were the highlights, emphasizing the Seventeen Sustainable Development Goals.

Students also presented a thought-provoking dance drama on the theme “Panchtatva,” advocating for environmental conservation.

Guest P. Sofat, Treasurer of DAVCMC and Chairperson of DAV Public School, Bistupur, delivered a motivating speech, emphasizing the crucial role of education and community engagement.

Principal Pragya Singh, ARO, Jharkhand Zone-E, presented the annual report, urging students to focus on self-improvement and progress.

She also acknowledged the teachers’ contributions to shaping the school’s image and ethos.

The event also included the presentation of awards and certificates to students excelling in academics and DAV National Sports.

These awards highlighted the importance of academic and athletic excellence.

The celebration commenced with the melodious DAV Gaan, followed by a floral felicitation of dignitaries and the Lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp.

A captivating Santhali dance, showcasing Jharkhand’s cultural heritage, opened the festivities.
