JAMSHEDPUR – Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Champai Soren, officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday during a program held at Dhurwa, Ranchi.
The event was attended by top BJP leaders, who welcomed Soren into the party.
Gunjan Yadav, former district president of BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar, warmly welcomed Soren’s decision, highlighting the benefits of his extensive political and public service experience for the party, particularly in the Kolhan region.
Yadav emphasized that Soren’s move is a decisive step against family-run and corrupt politics.
He remarked that this marks a strong signal in the fight against such forces, indicating that a wave of change has begun in Jharkhand’s politics.
Yadav also expressed optimism about the future, stating that a strong BJP government dedicated to public service and good governance will soon be established in the state.
