Environment Day Celebrated with Tree Plantation at Ashiana Garden
Annual Plantation Event Held at Daffodil Ground, Sonari
Tree plantation event at Ashiana Garden in Sonari marks Environment Day with community participation.
JAMSHEDPUR – On the occasion of Environment Day, a tree plantation drive was conducted at Ashiana Garden in Sonari, Jamshedpur.
Various plants were planted during the event.
Suraj Harpal, the maintenance and horticulture contractor for Ashiana, organized the plantation, continuing his annual tradition.
This year, the event was held at Daffodil Ground.
Residents of the colony, society members, and the maintenance team actively participated in the plantation.
Key attendees included society president Suresh Sonthalia, treasurer Ramakant Gupta, secretary Ashok Kumar Bihani, Anil Gogna, Piona Ghosh, and Ashiana head Binod Kumar Sahu with his team.
The community’s involvement highlighted the collective effort towards enhancing green spaces and promoting environmental conservation.
One of the participants commented, "This annual event brings us together to contribute to a greener environment."
