International Maithili Parishad prepares for a grand celebration of Mithila Day and Judi Sheetal Parv with a focus on traditional cuisine and environmental conservation.

JAMSHEDPUR – The city gears up for a vibrant celebration of Mithila culture and environmental awareness this April 14th.

Hosted at Baba Kuti in Bistupur, the event promises a feast of traditional Mithila dishes such as Dal Puri and Mango Chutney.

Guests will partake in Maithili traditions, savoring delicacies and wearing ceremonial clay tilak.

Discussions will explore women’s empowerment in Mithila and the broader cultural significance of the day.

The festival highlights community efforts in plant conservation and water source preservation during the hot months.

Honors will be bestowed upon women excelling in various fields, emphasizing their contributions to the community.
