JPSC Prepares for 11th, 12th, 13th Civil Services Exams with 349 Posts Open
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is gearing up to conduct a combined civil services examination, encompassing the 11th, 12th, and 13th iterations (Civil Services-2021, 2022, and 2023), to fill a total of 349 positions, which includes 342 regular and seven backlog posts.
RANCHI – The Commission’s decision to consolidate these exams follows its successful conduct of the 7th to 10th Civil Services exams.
This ambitious initiative, set for April/May, aims to streamline the recruitment process for various services.
In adherence to the revised rules-2021, this comprehensive examination will address vacancies up until December 31, 2022.
The Personnel Department’s requisition outlines that several services will not be part of this recruitment due to zero vacancies, namely Jharkhand Information Service, Jharkhand Social Security Service, Jharkhand Planning Service, Jharkhand Registration Service, and Jharkhand Municipal Service.
However, the Commercial Tax Department presents a significant number of vacancies, offering 63 positions, including 56 regular and seven backlog posts.
The JPSC is set to fill a wide array of roles through this examination.
These include 207 posts in the Jharkhand Administrative Service, 35 in the Police Service, 2 in the Prison Service, 6 in the Probation Service, and the aforementioned 63 in the Commercial Tax Service.
Furthermore, 14 vacancies in the Labor Planning Service, 10 in the Education Service, 8 in Co-operation, 3 in Product Service, and 1 in the Home Defense Corps Service are also up for grabs.
This consolidated examination approach is a strategic move by JPSC to efficiently manage the recruitment process, offering a wide range of opportunities for aspiring civil servants in Jharkhand.
