Adityapur Mourns as Six Youths Perish in Road Accident on New Year’s Day
Adityapur plunged into mourning as six young lives were tragically lost in a road accident on New Year’s Day.
ADITYAPUR – Adityapur witnessed a heartrending start to the New Year with the funeral of six young residents from Babakuti.
The community was visibly shaken, with many grieving the untimely loss.
Vice President of Adityapur Municipal Council, Purendra Narayan Singh, joined the funeral procession, offering his heartfelt condolences.
The accident occurred in Jamshedpur, claiming the lives of six youths from Babakuti.
Singh visited the families of the deceased, sharing in their sorrow, and took part in the last rites.
He has urged the Jharkhand government to provide jobs and a compensation of Rs 20 lakh to each victim’s dependents.
Advocate Om Prakash, Vice President of the District Bar Association, also expressed his condolences.
The youths, identified as Shubham Kumar, Anirudh Kumar Yadav, Aniket Kumar Mahato, Hemant Kumar Singh, Piyush alias Tuktuk, and Suraj Kumar, were en route to a picnic in a Tata Indigo.
They had gathered on December 31st at S Road in Babakooti, marking the end of the year with celebrations and preparing for the New Year picnic.
Their morning departure for the picnic tragically turned into the cause of their demise.
