JAMSHEDPUR – BJP intensified outreach among women in Bokaro after the women’s reservation bill was defeated in Parliament.

The BJP organized a padyatra led by its women’s wing. Meanwhile, the event was held in Bokaro as part of wider mobilisation efforts.

However, the march was followed by a women’s conference later. Moreover, party leaders addressed participants during the gathering.

Shalini Besikhiyaar attended as the chief guest. Meanwhile, she serves as the state general secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha.

Leaders strongly criticised opposition parties during speeches. On the other hand, they accused them of double standards.

Moreover, speakers termed the bill’s rejection as injustice against women. Meanwhile, party workers echoed similar sentiments throughout the event.

Women participants expressed strong political resolve during the conference. In contrast, they pledged to respond in upcoming elections.

They specifically named Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Moreover, they accused them of ignoring women’s interests.

Participants vowed to support BJP in both Lok Sabha polls. Meanwhile, they also mentioned upcoming Assembly elections.

The outreach campaign is part of a larger strategy. Moreover, BJP aims to consolidate women voters nationwide.

Such padyatras have been used in past campaigns. Meanwhile, the party has focused on grassroots mobilisation before elections.
