Samir Mohanty Reaffirms Loyalty to JMM, Denies Defection Rumors

Samir Mohanty, MLA of Chakulia, has reiterated his commitment to JMM, denying reports of his defection to BJP.

JAMSHEDPUR – Chakulia MLA Samir Mohanty has firmly denied rumors that he plans to leave Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Speaking at a press conference in his office, Mohanty emphasized that these rumors are baseless and part of a conspiracy to tarnish his reputation.

Mohanty stated that his political career began with JMM, where he considers Dishom Guru Shibu Soren as his mentor.

He affirmed that he has always been with JMM and will remain loyal to the party in the future.

He accused the BJP of spreading false information out of fear of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s growing popularity and the development work being carried out in the region.

Mohanty expressed confidence that JMM will win the upcoming assembly elections and that BJP will be defeated.

Mohanty also addressed the BJP’s alleged attempts to create divisions within JMM by spreading rumors, stating that the party has a history of trying to destabilize others.

He highlighted his strong relationship with CM Hemant Soren and expressed gratitude for the respect he has received within JMM.

He also praised former CM Champai Soren as a wise leader who has always worked for the development of the region.

Mohanty assured that there are no internal differences within the party regarding Champai Soren’s leadership.
