Tragedy struck the family of senior Congress leader and former MP representative Jagdish Narayan Choubey of Adityapur when his only son, Divyanshu Katyayan alias Glamour, 28, was found to have allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Vadodara.
JAMSHEDPUR – The news of Divyanshu Katyayan’s suicide has sent shockwaves through Jamshedpur and the Seraikela Kharsawan district, as the 28-year-old engineer and only son of senior Congress leader Jagdish Narayan Choubey was found dead in Vadodara.
As soon as the information about Divyanshu’s tragic demise reached the area, enlightened people started gathering at the Congress leader’s residence located at Adityapur Colony Road No. 7 to offer their condolences and support.
Divyanshu, an engineer employed by L&T Company in Vadodara, was discovered to have taken his own life by hanging on Thursday night, with the family receiving the devastating news around 9:30 pm.
The family was left shattered by the sudden loss of their beloved son, with a mountain of sorrow falling upon them as they grappled with the tragedy.
Political leaders from various parties, including former Ichagarh MLA and BJP leader Arvind Singh, Congress’s working district president Ambuj Pandey, senior Congress leaders Suresh Dhari and Diwakar Jha, BJP leaders Satish Sharma, Brijmohan Singh, and Chandan Singh, as well as TMC leaders Babu Tanti and Vibhash Chaudhary, visited Choubey’s residence to express their condolences and offer support.
The community has come together to help the family in their time of grief, with preparations being made for further arrangements, including plans to reach Vadodara by air to bring Divyanshu’s body back home.
The untimely demise of the young engineer has left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who are struggling to come to terms with the loss of a promising life cut short.
The deceased was a meritorious student and was admired by his friends and relatives for his good conduct and affable disposition..
