Tragic Accident Near Jamshedpur Claims One Life, Two Injured

Hit-and-Run Incident Leaves One Dead, Two Hospitalized

A hit-and-run accident near Pardih Kali Mandir in Jamshedpur left one youth dead and two others injured on Wednesday evening.

JAMSHEDPUR – A Tata 407 truck struck three bike riders near Pardih Kali Mandir, adjacent to Mango, Jamshedpur, resulting in injuries to three young men.

The injured were rushed to MGM Hospital by local residents.

One of the youths, Ratikant Das, a resident of Patamda, succumbed to his injuries.

His friends, Krishna and Rahul, are currently receiving treatment for head injuries at MGM Hospital.

Following the incident, the white Tata 407 fled towards Chandil.

The deceased’s friend, Mohit, recounted that Ratikant, Krishna, and Rahul were returning to Patamda on a bike after purchasing clothes from Sakchi Sanjay Market.

Mohit and another friend were on a separate bike.

A mini truck coming from the opposite direction struck Krishna’s bike near Kali Mandir, causing the accident and injuries.

The body of Ratikant has been kept in the mortuary at MGM Hospital, with a post-mortem scheduled for Thursday.

A local resident commented, "This tragic incident has shaken the community. We urge authorities to take strict action against the culprit."
