  • Placement Officer Urges Calm Amid Ongoing Demonstration
  • Police Deployed as Tension Continues at Campus

JAMSHEDPUR – Students in Adityapur staged a protest against a placement officer’s transfer, blocking entry to the institute and demanding reversal.

Students gathered at Indo Danish Tool Room on Monday. They opposed the transfer of placement in-charge Sumit Koli.

Meanwhile, protesters blocked the main gate of the institute. They stopped teachers and staff from entering the campus.

However, students claimed Koli performed his duties efficiently. They said his sudden transfer was unjustified.

Moreover, they raised slogans and demanded immediate cancellation. They insisted the decision should be reviewed by authorities.

Meanwhile, Sumit Koli reached the protest site himself. He requested students to end the agitation with folded hands.

However, students refused to withdraw their protest. They continued their demonstration despite his appeal.

On the other hand, institute officials avoided speaking on camera. They did not provide any official statement.

Moreover, sources said top management ordered the transfer. However, no formal confirmation has been issued yet.

Meanwhile, local police reached the campus after tensions escalated. They monitored the situation closely to prevent unrest.

In contrast, the protest remained peaceful but firm. Students continued their blockade till the report was filed.

Meanwhile, the institute located near Jamshedpur has seen similar student concerns earlier. However, such large-scale protests are uncommon at the campus.
