JAMSHEDPUR – Professional golfer Shaurya Bhattacharya from Delhi led his team to victory at the Tata Steel Tour Championship 2024 Pro-Am event with an impressive 52 score.

Bhattacharya’s winning team included amateur players Mr. Shantanu Verma, Ms. Tamanna Jeet Singh, and Ms. Monica Lukatuke. Their performance secured the title at the event.

Meanwhile, professional golfer Abhinav Lohan from Faridabad led his team to the runner-up position. Lohan’s team, consisting of Dr. Baljeet Singh, Mr. Dheeraj Jha, and Mr. Nipam Mehta, finished close with a 52.7 score.

Closest to the Pin Winners

On Hole 1, Mr. Sarjeet Jha claimed the Closest to the Pin title with a tee shot that landed just three feet from the pin.

At Hole 17, Dr. Rita Jha won the title with her shot landing 14 feet and 8 inches away from the pin.

Straight Drive Competition Highlights

Mrs. Maya Chaudhary won the Straight Drive contest on Hole 8. Her shot landed precisely at the center of the fairway, showcasing her accuracy.

On Hole 14, Mr. Gaurav Rungta delivered an exceptional performance. His shot landed merely half an inch away from the center line, earning him the title.

Gaganjeet Bhullar Wins Putting Competition

The professional putting competition, held at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, saw Gaganjeet Bhullar emerge victorious. Bhullar, who is the reigning Tata Steel Tour Championship champion, showcased his remarkable skill yet again.
