Youth Lakhinder Mahato dies in a tragic road accident in Bokaro; villagers demand compensation and block roads.

BOKARO – In a tragic turn of events, a road accident in Bokaro claimed the life of a young man, Lakhinder Mahato, and left two others injured.

The incident occurred near Essar Petrol Pump on NH-32, within the Pindrajora police station’s jurisdiction.

Mahato, hailing from Jamadoba, Dhanbad, was visiting his brother’s in-laws in Santhaldih Jhagdu Mahato.

He and two friends had gone to the Ijri river on Sunday evening.

The trio’s journey back turned fatal when an out-of-control Shankar Parvati bus struck them.

Mahato succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

His companions are currently receiving medical care at a local nursing home.

Following the accident, villagers have blocked the road, calling for compensation.

Police are on site, attempting to resolve the situation and clear the traffic obstruction.
