Devastating Blaze Rages in Mango, Jamshedpur: Store Owner Faces Major Loss

A catastrophic fire at a general store in Jamshedpur results in heavy financial damage.

JAMSHEDPUR – A severe fire erupted at a general store on Jawahar Nagar Road No. 6, within the Mango police station area of Jamshedpur, early on Friday morning. The blaze, which began at around 4:00 am, resulted in an estimated loss of Rs 40 to 50 lakh.

Shakeel Ahmed, the owner of the store, reported previous incidents of theft at the same location.

Ahmed received a phone call alerting him to the fire, prompting him to rush to the scene.

Upon arrival, he found his shop entirely engulfed in flames, with all contents, including an ice cream making machine, destroyed.

He highlighted that the shop also conducted agency work, contributing to the extent of the loss.

Following the outbreak of the fire, emergency services were contacted, and two fire engines were dispatched to the location.

After approximately three hours of intensive efforts, firefighters successfully brought the fire under control.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, and investigations are ongoing to determine its origin.
