Jamshedpur officer suspended for extorting bribe for certificates.

JAMSHEDPUR – Munshi Krishna Kumar of Sundarnagar police station faced immediate suspension on charges of corruption.

SSP Kishore Kaushal ordered the suspension after a complaint was lodged.

A victim reported Munshi’s demand for money in exchange for a character certificate.

The SSP’s prompt investigation substantiated the bribe allegations.

An inquiry team found Munshi Kumar’s actions merited suspension.

The officer solicited Rs 200 for issuing the certificate, revealed the investigation.

Munshi Krishna Kumar’s conduct breached the code of police ethics and service.
