BJP state president Babulal Marandi refutes claims that Dheeraj Sahu’s amassed wealth is due to his family’s long-standing business, suggesting corruption and electoral misuse.
RANCHI – BJP State President Babulal Marandi has strongly criticized the huge cash haul during IT raids on different premises of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu and has refuted the assertions surrounding Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu’s financial and business background.
He disputed claims that Sahu’s significant cash holdings are legitimate, citing his family’s business history.
Marandi emphasized that experienced business persons understand the limits of cash retention, hinting at unusual financial activities.
He directly alleged that the seized funds are a product of corruption.
Further, Marandi raised concerns about the potential involvement of current Jharkhand power holders in these corrupt practices.
He suggested that these funds could be misused in upcoming elections, hinting at deeper political corruption.

He said that by simply looking at the bundle of notes found at the residence of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu, it can only be estimated that if one MP has so much money, then how much money the Congress party together must have stolen and suppressed from the public in during the last 60 years.
Marandi said that this unbreakable relationship between Congress Party and corruption will now be exposed one by one in front of the public, this is Modi’s guarantee.
Earlier, Marandi participated in the program of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra address of PM Narendra Modi at the state BJP office.
Here, he engaged with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dialogue program, focusing on beneficiaries of central government schemes.
State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh, alongside party officials and workers, accompanied Marandi at this event.
