Exam Integrity Uproar: Congress Marches in Ranchi Against NEET, UGC NET Corruption

State leaders demand Education Minister’s resignation, cancellation of NEET exam

Congress stages protest in Ranchi, accusing BJP of compromising youth’s future through widespread exam paper leaks.

RANCHI – Jharkhand Congress leads massive demonstration from Shaheed Chowk to Raj Bhavan, decrying alleged corruption in national-level examinations.

The streets of Ranchi echoed with slogans as Congress party members marched in protest against alleged corruption in NEET and UGC NET exams. The demonstration, part of a nationwide campaign, saw a significant turnout under the leadership of State Congress President Rajesh Thakur.

Addressing the gathering, Thakur highlighted the alarming frequency of exam paper leaks. "In the past five years, 43 recruitment exam papers have been compromised," he stated. "The BJP government seems intent on weakening our youth rather than empowering them."

The Congress leader questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s priorities, saying, "If the PM claims to have stopped international conflicts, why can’t he prevent paper leaks at home?"

Health Minister Banna Gupta, among other prominent figures, joined the protest to voice concerns over the impact on students’ futures.

Congress demanded immediate action, calling for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation and the cancellation of the NEET exam.

"We’ll continue this fight for justice," Thakur declared, referencing Rahul Gandhi’s extensive campaign efforts.

The BJP countered these allegations, with state spokesperson Pratul Shahdev dismissing the protest as "crocodile tears." He questioned the Congress’s silence on previous exam irregularities in Jharkhand.

As the debate intensifies, the future of countless aspiring students hangs in the balance, awaiting concrete steps to ensure fair and transparent examination processes.
