Chinmaya Vidyalaya Southpark in Jamshedpur organized a fun and educational activity on June 29, 2024, for students of grades IV, V, and VI, where they learned to create fridge magnets under the guidance of a resource person from Pidilite.

JAMSHEDPUR – Chinmaya Vidyalaya Southpark in Bistupur held a unique workshop on June 29, 2024, where students from grades IV, V, and VI engaged in a creative activity to make fridge magnets.

The workshop, led by a resource person from Pidilite, was a beautiful blend of art and science, allowing students to explore their artistic talents while learning about magnets and their properties.

Creative Learning Experience

Around 90 students participated in the activity, enthusiastically creating fridge magnets using epoxy compound clay moulds.

The session lasted for about one and a half hours, providing ample time for the students to craft their designs.

The outcome was a collection of beautiful, vibrant, and creative fridge magnets, showcasing the students‘ artistic skills and scientific understanding.

Encouraging Creativity and Learning

The school aims to organize more such activities in the future to encourage students to explore their creativity and apply scientific concepts in fun and engaging ways.

The workshop not only allowed students to express their artistic side but also provided a practical learning experience about the properties of magnets.
