NIT Jamshedpur’s Industry-Academia Conclave 2023 Ends on High Note

Inspirational Talks and Cultural Events Mark End of NIT Jamshedpur Conclave

The three-day Industry-Academic Conclave at NIT Jamshedpur concluded with insights on air transport opportunities and a focus on self-reliance.

JAMSHEDPUR -The National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, successfully concluded its three-day Industry-Academic Conclave 2023.

The closing ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Rambabu Chaudhary, CEO of Air India Airport Services Limited.

Retired Admiral A.K. Verma and notable alumni like Sharanappa Kambli, Head of Mines at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, were also present.

Rambabu Chaudhary inspired the youth with a speech on entrepreneurial opportunities in the air transport sector.

The Director of NIT Jamshedpur emphasized the importance of such events for achieving a self-reliant India.

Experts from over 350 institutions and industries participated, providing a diverse pool of knowledge and experience.

The conclave featured a model presentation and competition with 250 participants from various educational backgrounds.

Participants showcased innovative ideas and technical skills on topics like climate change and circular economics.

An expert discussion was organized, where professionals offered insights and solutions to contemporary challenges.

Prof. Gautam Sutradhar, the institute’s director, highlighted the alignment of the conclave with government initiatives like Make in India.

The event also included a Business Tycoon session with speakers like Deep Kakkar, Sunny Kabrawala, and Dr. Nachiket Bhatia, focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation.

A cultural evening featured performances like Chhau dance by Kedar Art Center Seraikela and a chandelier display by Padma Shri Mukund Nayak.

Yoga and meditation sessions were also part of the conclave, emphasizing holistic development.

The inaugural day saw participation from industry leaders like Tata Steel’s Uttam Singh and academic luminaries such as Prof. Arvind Choubey, Director of NIT Durgapur, and Dr. Shubhrokamal Dutta, an economic and foreign policy expert.
