Jharkhand Opens Admissions for 80 CM Schools of Excellence
Applications Accepted Till February 10, Entrance Test on March 1

RANCHI – The Jharkhand Education Project Council has started admissions for CM Schools of Excellence, accepting applications until February 10.
The council has established different entry points based on school categories. The process includes both online and offline applications.
“These schools will transform education standards,” an education official stated. The initiative aims to provide quality education.
Admission Schedule
The entrance examination is set for March 1. JCERT will prepare the question papers.
Meanwhile, the first merit list will be released on March 10. Classes will begin from April 1.
Entry Requirements
Children must meet specific age criteria for admission. For Bal Vatika, the age should be five years.
Moreover, Class 1 aspirants should be six years old. The age calculation period is April 2024 to March 2025.
School Categories
The excellence schools offer various class combinations. Four schools will run classes from 1 to 12.
Furthermore, 27 institutions will have classes 9 to 12. The largest group of 48 schools will operate classes 6 to 12.
Special Provisions
The Kasturba Gandhi Schools have reserved 25 seats. These are specifically for meritorious female students.
However, applicants must clear the entrance test. Help desks will assist parents during the process.
