RVS Academy Hosts ASISC Zonal Debate Competition
Sacred Heart Convent School team wins, qualifies for regional level
Jamshedpur’s RVS Academy brings together 26 CISCE schools for spirited debate on online vs traditional education.
JAMSHEDPUR – RVS Academy on Dimna Road hosted the ASISC Zonal Debate Competition for the Junior Category on June 25, featuring participants from 26 CISCE-affiliated schools.
"This event showcases our commitment to fostering critical thinking skills," stated Singh Binda, RVS Academy Chairman.
The debate topic, "Is online education as effective as traditional education?", sparked lively discussions among participants.
Nandi Jhumjhumi, Principal of Jusco School Kadma, moderated the event, with a jury of esteemed English teachers.
Pandey Avika from Sacred Heart Convent School was named Best Speaker for the Motion.
Pandey Ishika of Tarapore School won Best Speaker against the Motion.
The winning team comprised Pandey Avika and Singh Pragya from Sacred Heart Convent School.
Little Flower School’s Sudarshan Taruna and Bandopadhya Shambhabi secured the first runner-up position.
Pandey Ishika and Sharma Tanisha from Tarapore School were named second runners-up.
Both Pandey Avika and Pandey Ishika have qualified for the upcoming Regional Debate Competition.
