Uproar in MGM Hospital, Jamshedpur as emergency ward left unattended; BJP leader Vimal Baitha steps in to demand immediate action.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tempers flared at the emergency ward of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) College Hospital as medical personnel were noticeably absent during a critical situation.
The absence of doctors escalated into an uproar led by the family of Bhola Singh, a resident of Kharangajhar, who was admitted with severe burns.
Singh sustained 70% burns following an accident with a teller and was rushed to the hospital for immediate care.
Upon their arrival, the family was met with an unstaffed emergency ward, leading to heightened tensions.
Responding to the chaos, BJP leader Vimal Baitha arrived at the scene and promptly lodged a complaint with the Deputy Superintendent of the hospital.
Baitha emphasized the ongoing negligence at MGM Hospital and questioned where the general populace should turn to in times of medical emergencies.
