JAMSHEDPUR – A 50-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed into a parked truck near Tudi village in Potka.

The accident happened early Tuesday morning on the Potka main road. The victim was identified as Shyam Singh Munda, a resident of Jamshedpur.

Meanwhile, he originally belonged to Uliidih in Chakradharpur. He was travelling with his wife toward his native place.

However, the motorcycle lost control near a petrol pump. It then hit a parked Hyva truck from behind.

Moreover, the impact caused severe injuries to Shyam Singh. His wife also sustained injuries in the collision.

Meanwhile, local police reached the spot after receiving information. Both victims were taken to Potka Community Health Centre.

However, doctors declared Shyam Singh dead on arrival. His wife is undergoing treatment for her injuries.
