JAMSHEDPUR – A fatal road accident on NH-33 near Chandil left one dead and several injured after a head-on collision between two vehicles.

A deadly crash occurred on Tuesday on Tata-Ranchi highway. The incident happened near a hotel between Chandil and nearby areas.

However, the collision involved a Bolero and a Swift Dzire. The impact caused severe damage to both vehicles.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses reported a loud crash at the scene. Panic spread quickly among nearby people.

Moreover, one person died instantly due to injuries. Several others suffered serious wounds in the accident.

On the other hand, the Bolero was traveling from a village toward the city. It collided directly with the incoming car.

Meanwhile, traffic movement stopped briefly after the crash. A jam formed along the highway stretch.

However, locals quickly stepped in to assist victims. They rushed the injured to a nearby hospital.

Moreover, police from the local station reached the site soon. They cleared the road and controlled the situation.

In contrast, the damaged vehicles were removed later. Traffic resumed after police intervention.

Meanwhile, the body was sent for postmortem examination. Authorities have started a detailed investigation.
