Elderly Man’s Money Targeted Near Mango Police Station; Suspect Flees

A young individual stole Rs. 65,000 from an elderly man near Mango police station; police are investigating the matter.

JAMSHEDPUR – In charge of Mango police station, Vinay Kumar said that an elderly man had visited the station to provide information regarding the theft of the money bag, but that he had not submitted a formal report; the police are now looking into the situation.

Despite raising an alert, the young perpetrator managed to escape capture.

The event took place on Sunday around 7 o’clock in the evening, when the elderly man was standing on his bike, talking to someone.

At that moment, the young person approached and fled, carrying the bicycle’s bag which contained sixty-five thousand rupees.

The elderly victim arrived at the police station to explain what had transpired, but the formal complaint was not filed until after midnight.
