In the recent CISCE Zonal Yoga Championship, local students astound with exceptional yoga prowess, exemplifying dedication and resilience.
JAMSHEDPUR – The climax of the CISCE Zonal Yoga Championship was marked by the felicitation of the winning yogis, a ceremony that brought an exciting two-day event to a close.
Devang Gandhi, Joint Secretary of the School Managing Committee, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Principal of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES), Paramita Roy Chaudhury, shared words of wisdom with the contestants, emphasizing the significance of dedication and persistence, and highlighting that life’s victory is not just about winning, but rather about not giving up.
In the championship that boasted a turnout of 150 enthusiastic participants, contestants showcased their skills in Athletic, Artistic, and Rhythmic Yoga styles.
The championship was organized in three age-based categories: Under 19 for Senior (Boys & Girls), Sub-Junior (boys and girls) – Under 14, and Junior (boys and girls) – Under 17.
The NHES students captured the audience’s attention with an energetic dance performance, which served as a refreshing interlude amidst the yoga events.
Among the participating schools, yoga performers from Little Flower School, Hill Top School, Church School, Beldih, Sacred Heart Convent School, Rajendra Vidyalaya, Narbheram Hansraj English School, Carmel Junior College, Sri Krishna Public School, Dayanand Public School, ADLS Sunshine School, and Vig English School earned their spots on the victory stand.
A total of 18 schools in Jamshedpur were represented in the championship, adding to the competitive spirit.
