Young Minds Tackle Animal Testing Topic at R.V.S. Academy Event

Jamshedpur schools compete in thought-provoking competition, highlighting future leaders’ potential.

JAMSHEDPUR – The ASISC Zonal Level Debate Competition for seniors unfolded at R.V.S. Academy’s auditorium on Dimna Road, Mango, featuring participants from 25 local schools.

“The level of articulation and knowledge displayed was truly impressive,” remarked Mrs. Jhumjhumi Nandi, Principal of Jusco School Kadma, who moderated the event.

Competition Highlights

Students debated the topic: “Should Animal Testing for Scientific and Commercial Purposes Be Banned?”

Participants had one hour to prepare their arguments prior to the competition.

Mr. Binda Singh, R.V.S. Academy Chairman, inaugurated the event.

Distinguished judges Mrs. Babin Sarkar, Mrs. K. Shaheen, and Mr. Shivam Srivastava evaluated performances.

Notable Achievements

Lakshita Choudhary from Loyola School clinched Best Speaker for the Motion.

Krishna Suhani of Carmel Jr. College secured Best Speaker Against the Motion.

Carmel Jr. College’s team emerged as Overall Winners.

Sacred Heart Convent School and Narbheram Hansraj English School secured second and third positions respectively.

Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra praised contestants’ subject knowledge and presentation skills.

The debate provided a platform for young orators to showcase their talents and critical thinking abilities.

This event underscores the importance of fostering public speaking and analytical skills among students in Jamshedpur’s educational landscape.
