BJM Ulidih Mandal Criticizes Mango Municipal Corporation for Poor Public Services

BJM’s Ulidih unit convened a meeting condemning Mango Municipal Corporation for increased holding tax, unclean surroundings, and lack of public amenities.

JAMSHEDPUR – An important meeting of the BJM Ulidih Mandal was organized in Ulidih Adarsh Nagar where members openly criticized the functioning of the Mango Municipal Corporation.

Outrage was expressed over the increased holding tax and the decaying infrastructure under the Municipal Corporation’s management.

The meeting was chaired by Mandal President Prem Saxena, with notable attendance from Kulwinder Singh Pannu, the General Secretary of the District and Convenor of Mango Municipal Corporation Committee.

Participants in the meeting collectively voiced their disappointment with Mango Municipal Corporation’s negligence towards public issues in the region.

They pointed out that major drains in the area are clogged, causing road inundation during rainfall.

The absence of regular cleaning has led to piles of garbage and filth everywhere, with public toilets being in a deplorable state.

Municipal Corporation’s ignorance towards essential tasks like sprinkling of bleaching powder and fogging was also criticized.

BJM Ulidih Mandal’s office bearers stated that while Mango’s residents are paying substantial holding taxes, they are being denied basic public facilities.

The meeting concluded with a resolution to hold a larger meeting with the residents of Mango under the banner of BJM Mango Municipal Corporation Committee.

The aim will be to devise a strategy for a movement against Mango Municipal Corporation’s poor management.

Attendees of the meeting included BJM District Treasurer Dharmendra Prasad, Akash Shah, Ganesh Sharma, Rahul Prasad, Sunita Singh, Pradeep Mahapatra, Manoj Gupta, Yogendra Sahu, Sanjeev Kumar, Ganesh Sahu, Chandradev Prasad, Santosh Sinha, Munna Saav, Mahesh Kumar, and others.
