Hundreds of BJP workers, led by Telco Mandal President Vikas Sharma and other party leaders, arrived at the police station to submit a memorandum.
A dispute arose between BJP workers and a clerk and jeep driver at the station.
The clerk allegedly snatched a mobile phone from a BJP worker, while the jeep driver reportedly attempted to disrespect the party flag.
Police initially refused to accept the memorandum from the BJP delegation.
The situation escalated, leading to a commotion at the police station.
Law enforcement officials later intervened to calm the situation.
BJP workers staged a demonstration in front of the police station, raising slogans against the alleged non-cooperation.
Party leader Pawan Agarwal announced plans to "expose the black deeds" of Telco police station and stage a protest on Monday.
